 The Jazzlinx is a duo that was formed by singer Heather Evans and singer/pianist Vern Waldron. After many years as solo performers and many years as friends they decided to form a duo as it would allow them to be more creative musically and also have more fun as they really enjoy their musical partnership.
They both have very varied musical backgrounds and decided that the name “Jazzlinx” would best express their desire to incorporate the many musical genres they both value. They also have a desire to communicate an overall message in their music of love, peace and brotherhood, hence many of the songs they perform have a message to them. Vern and I have been invited back to the world-famous Catalina's Jazz Club for a second engagement! We are very excited about it and can assure you that we will have some wonderful musicians with us that evening (tba) and a lot of new songs that we have been working on for your enjoyment!
Our booking is for Wednesday, September 3rd from 8-10 pm and we surely hope you can join us for a wonderful evening of music and fun! The door charge will be $10 and there is parking in the rear of the club.
